industry. A family owned business founded in 1982 in
Cincinnati, Ohio, APT Corp.
is dedicated
to quality in every aspect of business, from the high
quality material used
for all products to the personalized, professional customer service
and commitment to competitive pricing.
Founder, William Underwood originally started the company as an
Importer of
Transportation equipment/components. As the demand for high-quality,
specialized components grew, William
Underwood moved the business to
Dayton, Ohio. In 1986,
William Underwood’s son, Jeff joined
the venture. In 1990, the
company-owned
tooling and resources were brought back to the
United States and
solid relationships
with domestic producers were developed.
Today our goal is simple: provide the best products, with the best
service at a price
that is
competitive. We fight price increases using every method at
our disposal,
except one – quality.
And we’ve been successful, as many of our
prices are the same
as the day we opened or have
risen a fraction of the inflation rate.
